In the main area, all schedule items of the current schedule are listed according to their type (fullscreen element, audio element, or treadmill). Each schedule item can be edited, moved, or deleted. Of course, new schedule items can be added as well.
The filter area on the left offers a chance to reduce the number of items displayed in the main area. It is possible to filter schedule items according to their name/description or their type (fullscreen element, audio element, or treadmill). It is also possible to toggle between two viewing modes: in the normal view, all items are simply being listed in order, one after another; in the time-scaled view, all items are positioned according to their starting time and duration.
enCreate, dialog "Media catalog": Manage all media that are known to the system.
In the main area, all known media are listed. Each media item can be edited, deleted or added to the schedule.
The filter area on the left again offers a chance to reduce the number of items displayed in the main area. It is possible to filter media items according to their name/description or their category or type.
enCreate, dialog "File management": Make new media files known to the system.
In the main area, all files in the system directory are listed. In order to be used by enStream, each file has to be classified first. This step has to be done only once. After a file has been classified, it shows up in the media catalog.
This classification step can also be done automatically for all files listed by pushing the "Auto-classify files" button.
The filter area on the left once again offers a chance to reduce the number of items displayed in the main area. It is possible to filter files according to their file name (and/or description if they have already been classified). It is also possible to only show those files that have not yet been classified.
More about enCreate
enCreate can be customized in several ways: most importantly, there is full multi-language support (at this moment English and German are supported). Also, it is possible to choose from several themes.
enCreate accepts (video-, audio-, image- and PPT-) files via drag+drop, and -depending on the dialog the application currently shows- will either add them to the file management dialog (for manual or automatic classification), add them to the media catalog (including automatic classification), or add them directly to the current schedule (including automatic classification if needed).
The application can either auto-save the current schedule after every change, or have the user do the saving manually. As you might expect, enCreate is able to handle more than one single schedule, in fact using (File/New schedule, File/Open schedule, File/Save schedule as) the user is able to create as many schedules as needed.
enVisualize can be launched directly from within enCreate (Menu File/Play schedule) which will then display the current schedule (preferably on a second monitor).
Demo: Changing the layer size of a video layer
In enCreate, the size and position of all layers can be fully customized in the "Program" dialog via drag+drop.
Also through the context menu, there are several standard sizes available (full screen size, half screen size etc.), also it is possible to change the z-order of the layers (i.e. move them to front or back).
By double-clicking onto a layer, a dialog appears which allows you to position a layer exactly and also change further properties such as font and font size for treadmills.
